Inclusion Principles to Engage ALL Learners in Learning Environments

Synopsis:

Every student has something to learn, something to teach, and something to contribute. This interactive workshop will focus on high-leverage inclusive practices to engage ALL learners in our inclusive classrooms. Inclusive Principles such as creating a positive classroom community, increasing equitable brain-based instructional opportunities, utilizing differentiated instruction, and planning using a strength-based approach are a few of the principles we explore.  Teachers will discover Savanna’s TOP Inclusion principles and gather practical strategies to engage and accelerate student achievement.

In this interactive professional development workshop teachers and leaders will:

• Gain practical strategies to engage ALL learners.
• Acquire dozens of instantly usable learning strategies, innovative resources, and techniques to engage and maintain students in active learning.
