Building a Specially Designed Instruction Toolkit to Reach Students with Disabilities

This workshop is created specifically for Special Education Teachers. What is specially designed instruction and how can you be sure your students who need it are getting what works for them? Teachers will learn key components of specially designed instruction and practical strategies for incorporating specially designed instruction into all service settings across the curriculum. In this session, special educators will build their instructional toolkit to ensure they are adding the "special" to "education." Teachers will gain valuable strategies for collecting rich data, integrating technology into instruction, and the art of collaboration to support diverse learners.
